Oleic acid polyethylene glycol ether (Oleate Oleic acid ethoxylated) is widely used as an emulsifier, dispersant, and solubilizer, Polyethylene glycol oleate OE-5.5/6/9/13 refers to different models of polyethylene glycol oleate (i.e. oleic acid polyoxyethylene ester), where the numbers (such as 5.5, 6, 9, 13) represent the average number of moles of ethylene oxide (EO) bound to each oleic acid molecule, reflecting its hydrophilic lipophilic balance (HLB) value and performance differences.
Mainly used for:
Cosmetics industry: Oleic acid ethoxylates used as emulsion stabilizer for lotion, cream and other products;
Pharmaceutical industry: as a drug carrier, improving the solubility and bioavailability of poorly soluble drugs;
Industrial field: used in coatings, textile auxiliaries, and pesticide formulations to improve wetting and dispersibility.
